On Wednesday, our whole family joined Mark's preschool for a day at the Belvedere Plantation in Fredericksburg.
Every October, St. Matthew's reserves a day at the plantation just for St. Matt's students and families. It was so special for Daddy and Keaton to take the day off and join us!
There are so many fun things to do at Belvedere, and it was amazing to go on a day with no crowds or lines!
First up - barn swing!
I think the boys would have done this all day if we let them! |
Next we took at hayride with Mark's class out to the pumpkin patch. |
The boys had such a great time stomping all over the field in search of the perfect pumpkin. |
We each picked our own pumpkin right from the vine! |
In Hawaii, our pumpkin patch shipped in the pumpkins and scattered them across a field for us to "pick." That experience made this pumpkin patch feel so LEGIT! |
Sailor also loved the pumpkins. She kept saying "OOOO!" |
Say this 5 times real fast: Sailor Pooped her Pants in the Pumpkin Patch! True story! |
Next we had lunch with Mark's buddies, Eli Easel and Dominic Duck. None of them ate much lunch- they were too excited! |
Next stop: the corn pit! |
All the kids loved this - even Sailor. |
The boys decided to fill Dominic's dad's shirt with corn. It was hilarious. Philip was not amused. |
As you can imagine, we are still finding corn in our house! |
Next stop: dune buggy race! |
Silly boys! |
For some reason Sailor was so content just standing around looking at these pumpkin. I even captured her balancing with no hands for the first time! |
my Sweetie! |
Sailor also really enjoyed the petting zoo! |
So many fun activites! |
Where's the baby? |
Such a perfect day! |
