Keaton at Two

I know he's my kid, so I'm a little biased, but come ON!

Thank you Jeanette for using your cool camera and your amazing gift to capture some precious 2 year old moments with Keaton! Here's a few of my favorites:

Anything goes...

When you are on vacation (especially when grandparents are involved), all rules are out the window. Skinny dipping at 7:30 am - why not??

Kiddie Park

Keaton and I are currently visiting our "Other one Brumbra and Papa" (as Keaton calls them) in Oklahoma while Scott is traveling for work. Tonight we took him to Kiddie Park! Kiddie Park is a very OLD amusement park - I believe it first opened in the 1940's. It is set in downtown Bartlesville (my hometown) and was built especially for toddlers and preschoolers. I have such great memories of coming here when I was a kid, and most of the rides are the very same ones that I rode on back then! Keaton is the PERFECT age to enjoy Kiddie Park. We swatted mosquitos and sweated like pigs, but it was worth it to watch his face light up on every ride. Thankfully, his cousin Mia was a good sport and suffered through some of the "baby rides" with him so he did not have to ride alone. Aunt Alexis joined in the fun as well. Of course, we completed our evening with popcorn, cold sprite, and a choo choo ride. What a fun evening!

Flora and Fauna

My mother in law has a real eye for taking photos of plant life. Check out the amazing flowers she has captured with her camera while in Hawaii!

Brumbra introduced Keaton to his new favorite snack this week - he calls them "motorcycles," and he asks for one about every hour!

Funny boy

This morning, I'm in my bathroom getting ready for an appointment, tuning out the constant "Mama, mama, mama, mama, mama..." I hear in the background. For some reason, I start paying attention to what he's trying to tell me,

"Mama, I up here! I get up here, Mama!"

This alarms me just a little, so I decide to try to find what he is "getting up" on all by himself. I found Keaton in the guest bathroom sink, toothbrush in hand. Thankfully, he had not turned on the faucet (yet).

"Mama, I need Nemo toothpaste!"

25 weeks (and counting!)

Probably the ONLY good thing about being considered a "high risk" pregnancy is that the doctors require regular ultrasounds to check the baby's growth and progression. Today was fun because I got to share the experience with Scott's parents who happened to be in town for this appointment. Keaton even got to sneak a peak of his new sibling! Thankfully, the baby checked out just fine weighing in at almost 2 lbs and measuring over a foot from crown to rump! As for Mama, I'm still feeling as sick as I did at 8 weeks and getting increasingly more uncomfortable in my ever-changing body. But, I see the home stretch just ahead so I'm trying to stay positive. Seeing this beautiful miracle every 4 weeks really helps...

B & P Arrive!

Brumbra and Papa Anderson arrived on the island on Tuesday evening. Since Scott has had to work everyday, I've had the pleasure of being their personal tour guide! So far, we've done alot of driving around and exploring, enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Yesterday, we took the "Northshore" drive, one of my favorite things to do. We walked around Laie Point and Sunset Beach, and then ate some amazing pizza at Pizza Bob's in Haleiwa. Brumbra (AKA "Gramarazzi") has taken nearly 100 pictures so far, but here are some of my favorites!
