Just kidding... THESE are some WAVES!!

Yesterday around 2:30, Scott emailed me from work to see if we wanted to take an impromptu, spontaneous (totally not like us, especially on a Monday) drive up to the North Shore when he got home from work. Waves were projected at 20-25 ft. After a VERY long morning and afternoon with the boys cooped up with the rainy weather, I was all over this idea. We were worried on our way up that the weather would not cooperate, but God was faithful to give us a window of sunshine, so that we could marvel in the beauty and power of His ocean.

These pictures were taken near Pipeline, one of the most famous surfing beaches in the world. We did see a few brave souls out there catching a wave, but not many!
