Keaton's Latest Toy

I think Keaton is really going to enjoy this one all summer. Keaton loves playing in the grass and dirt, so we new he would love playing in his new sandbox! Thanks Grandma!

Any tips for how to keep the sand OUTSIDE and not in my house would be greatly appreciated!

I have read somewhere that you put either baby powder or cornstarch on their limbs and hands before they go into the sandbox and then the sand comes off of them really easily. Haven't tried it yet though. John's building Andrew a sandbox, but isn't quite finished yet!

If you can put it in the shade (or use a deck umbrella), you may be able to avoid sunscreen (which makes the sand stick to their skin like it's hanging on for dear life). If he's really covered, I usually end up stripping Noah outside and then taking him straight up to the bath. We actually just got a sand & water table, which Noah stands at rather than sitting in. I'm hoping that helps avoid some of the mess. We'll see...
