Archambo Family Reunion 2016

A  highlight of every summer is the Archambo family reunion in Bartlesville. I wish I knew exactly how many years it has been since my parents started hosting. This was the first year to host in their new house. Because of moves, jobs, school, etc, its been several years since my whole family has been able to attend. We were so excited that we could all be there this year!
And it seems like its getting bigger every year!
It was a special treat that all 8 of my siblings and our families were in town together - first time in six years!
I was finally able to meet my new baby nephew Aiden!
Aunts, cousins, and cousins-in-law! Sarah, John, Rhonda, Kenna, and Cary rocking on the front porch!
Dustin's son Easton is 5 now!
Lisa Andrew, and Elise with baby Aiden!
The new slide was an obvious hit!
Some of Texarkana cousins (who now live in Florida and Arkansas)! Brad, Julie, Paula, Kayla, Lauren, and Chaselyn
Sweet Chloe is 2 (Dustin's daughter)
Fun to be together with my older brothers again!
Cool dude Sailor June. She seriously loves her Uncle A
Ruby, Sheri, Elise, Baby Gabe, Kristin, and Me
Papa! Stand in the rain while I take your picture. Almost got it. Wait, one more. Hold on. Stand right there. Ok, just a sec. One more. That one wasn't good...
All the cousins (from the first generation). What I love about this picture is that I told them all to make a silly face. My dad's the only one who did (or maybe the only one that heard me - ha!)
Beautiful Ruby is 2!
Kenna, Cousin Tim, and Lindsey
Only missing Kevin Andrew from my Uncle Ed's family!
Tim's Caleb (3) smiling at his new baby brother
AJ (almost 18!) and Mia (12)
Me, Mom, and Sailor June!
Jacob's girlfriend Kristin, and Sheri - photobombed by Mia!
Elise snuggling with Baby Aiden
The weekend would not be complete without a pitch tourney with this crazy bunch after the extended family went home!
2016 reunion in the books!

In the month of May... yes, I know its mid July.

Time for some catch up... where to start? How about May?

Here's me and my sweet boy at the Mother's Day Tea at his preschool. Oh, how we will miss St. Matthew's next year!

Our good friends, the Thompsons made a visit to the DC area, so we had a little reunion with many of our Hawaii friends that now live here!  It's amazing how big this group is, right?
Love these gals!
Keaton, Lucas, and Iain (looking a little skeptical)
Addie, Mark, and Eli
The next day was Mother's Day. We had a yummy lunch at Zoe's after church, and then my family left me (per my special request) at Stonebridge Center for T-H-R-E-E  H-O-U-R-S. I spent the day shopping and walking around all by myself. An odd way to spend Mothers Day, yes. But, tt was amazing!
"Reading with Dogs" - a fun Thursday tradition at our library! Sailor especially loves it!
It's starting to get nice outside - finally! This boy loves his sis (most of the time).
Boy Scout camp out!  They dealt with some storms and a considerable amount of mud, but still managed to have a blast!
We enjoyed a very windy Belmont Bay food truck festival!
Enjoying Keaton's last week of school and eating lunch with his classmates. What a sweet group of kids - we will miss them next year!
Mark is obviously ready for summer! It was about 65* this day...
Keaton on his last day of 2nd grade! I can't believe how old (and big) he is getting! He is such a good student, and we are so proud of him!
We love Mrs. Moss! So happy that Keaton had her for 2nd grade!
We wasted no time - driving straight to Charlotte after picking Keaton up from school. Sailor enjoys her big cousin Mary Elizabeth, and MEL is so good with her!
Teaching Sailor to drive (with attitude!)
Thankful to Jenny for watching the kids so we could skip away to Bristol for our good friend Chris Quillen's wedding.
So fun for Scott to catch up with many of his college buddies.
They had a fun reception at the Bristol train station!
From Charlotte, we drove to Nashville, and spent the night with our good friends, the Denny's! We had not seen them since Mark was a baby. Since visiting them in May, they had their 4th child, a baby girl, Katherine Grace.
a long 10 hours in the car later...
We made it to Brumbra and Papa's house! After a good night's sleep, the boys had fun cuddling with their cousin Christian on Brumbra's back patio.
Garrett made cinnamon rolls on our first morning! Yum!
Scott and I skipped away to Tulsa for dinner with one of our favorite couples - Lisa and Donovan! Can't wait for their wedding in September!
Visiting my parents' planks on the new Pathfinder bridge!
The Hudsons invited us out for dinner in the country. It was a blast to see Meg and the kiddos (in town for Memorial Day).
Feeding the horses
Halle Kate and Sailor June back together again!
Sometimes I'm still just amazed we both have girls now!
All of our kids - 5 boys & 2 girls!
And a ride on the Cruiser!
May was a fun-filled and very busy month for our family! Can you see now why I have no time for blogging? And we haven't even covered Memorial Day...
