Our friend, James Henry came over to play for a couple of hours yesterday evening. Here's a short video of them having fun together.

My Plant Family
When my mom came a couple of weeks ago, she helped me install this great plant shelf. I love it - I think it adds so much life to my kitchen! I have named each of my plants. I figure that if I give them each names and "adopt" them as new members of our family, I am less likely to neglect to water them. So, I would like to introduce the newest members of the Anderson household:
Verna (the African Violet): Mom brought her from Oklahoma. She is so dainty and beautiful! Apparently, she can be a little high-maintenance, but I love her anyway.
Charlotte and Peter Parker are brother and sister. I read that Spider plants are very easy to grow and propagate. According to the website I read, "If you take proper care of your plants, you will soon have a house full of spider plants. Spider plants reproduce like bunnies when they are given the right conditions to grow in..." Yikes! Ever seen the movie Arachnophobia?
Lucky is my Shamrock plant. He came from Publix. I just potted him the other day. We have not really bonded yet, but I'm sure we will.
Merrily is my friendly Philodendron. I've actually had her for over a year now. She is named for her pot that I made in high school art class with one of my favorite teachers, Merrily Gamwell.
We are one big happy family!

Spring Break
My mom, brother, and sister came to visit us for their spring break last week (hence, the lack of blogging). We had such a great time, and Keaton enjoyed all the extra attention! I love having a full house, so I'm a little depressed this morning in my quiet house :-( Here's a few pics from their visit.

Saturday in the Park
We took advantage of the mild weather on Saturday and took Keaton to the park for a picnic. He had a blast just sitting on the blanket watching the other children play and dogs walk by. He also played on the swing and slid down the slide a few times. We are looking forward to many more of these wonderful days outdoors this spring!

Giggles
In my opinion, there are not many things in the world more entertaining than a laughing baby. I'm always so amazed and puzzled at what cracks him up! Tonight, it was daddy saying "zap!"

Oklahoma/Texas Trip
Keaton and I just returned from a 10 day trip to Oklahoma and Texas visiting some family and friends. My older brother Justin and his wife Sheri (who live in Idaho) were in town for a wedding, so I thought it was a good time for a "work trip." We spent a week in Bartlesville, and then drove down to Fort Worth for the weekend to see the Hudson/Dennison clan. We had such a great time, but we were really glad to get home. I think Daddy was happy to have us home too. Here are some pics from our trip.
