DPP: Day 14

This is the second year in a row that Keaton froze up when Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas. I was able to prompt him to say exactly what I know that Santa is bringing!
I guess the magic can stay alive for one more year...
Bonus that Mrs. Claus was in Kaneohe tonight too!

DPP: Day 13

"Mom, let's list the most dangerous animals.
I'll start. 1) Alligators, 2) Crocodiles, 3) Gharials, 4) Hyenas, 5) Centipedes..."
Thanks, Brumbra, for the funny alligator hats. They are the source of so much fun and interesting conversation!

DPP: Day 12

Do you ever look at the sky and wonder if Jesus is about to break through the clouds any second?
This was the view on the way home tonight!

DPP: Day 11

Keaton and Mark found this piece of driftwood on the beach on Saturday, and Keaton has been begging me to paint it ever since. Finally today after we put down Mark for his nap, I busted out the paints and let him go after it. He clearly had a vision for this piece of wood. :-) This part of Keaton reminds me so much of me as a kid. I used to love to paint and color (still do, actually).
So, now I have this colorful, beautifully painted piece of wood, and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it.
But, I have I feeling its something I'll never be able to throw away...

DPP: Day 10

I am a granola making machine today!
I decided to make something a little healthier for Keaton and Mark's teachers this Christmas.
They have 14 total between MOPS, BSF, and Cubbies!  That's a lot of teacher gifts for 2 kids who don't even go to school!

DPP: Day 9

One day, you're basking in the sunrise.
The next - you're sleeping with a bucket by your bed.
It's amazing how life can change in a matter of hours.

DPP: Day 8

This morning, we actually woke the boys up (instead of the other way around), picked up some donuts, and got to Lanikai in time for sunrise. I took over 300 photos with my DSLR and this one from my iPhone is still my favorite. Funny how sometimes the moment just makes it.
